Our Brufasol® AL 2300 is a bismuth vanadate (Pigment Yellow 184) with special properties. It has very good brilliance and high hiding power. The very clean and pure yellow tone has a tinge of green. Bismuth vanadate generally shows very good weather fastness and is resistant to organic solvents as well as dilute acids and alkalis. Our product is free of harmful heavy metals. Brufasol® AL 2300 develops its color strength rapidly in all formulations.
Brufasol® AL 2300 is particularly suitable for exterior use. The good ecotoxicological profile of bismuth vanadate makes it the best substitute for lead-based yellow pigments.
We see coil, industrial coatings, powder coatings, automotive, masterbatch, polyolefins, ABS plastics, PVC, plastic fibers, coatings for interior applications, flooring, epoxy, road markings, pigment pastes, pigment dispersions and silicate paints as application areas for our bismuth vanadate.
